Delta T (Δ) Ratings Explained
All our radiator outputs are quoted at T Delta 50 in our view this is the most accurate measurement to use in the majority of todays homes with combi boilers.
If you have a Air source Heat pump you must look at a the T Delta 30 output. This is achieved by dividing our T Delta 50 figure by 0.515.
For example a if you need 5000 BTU to heat the size of your room a radiator with that output at T Delta 50 is NOT big enough to heat your room as
your system is operating at a lower water temperature inside the radiator
therefore you need to look at a radiator size that quotes 5000 BTU at T Delta 30.
